We brought in our Meyer Lemon tree a few weeks ago, just before we had our first cold spell. I noticed little round balls forming on the tips of one of the branches. Here’s the first flower.

We just bought the tree in the springtime of this year. From what I read I didn’t think we were suppose to get any fruits this year. I’m really hopeful that we may. That is, if everything goes right. I’m crossing my fingers.

We placed it in one of the sunniest of windows in our house. I’m hoping it’ll receive enough sunlight for the fruits to hold up and grow. We usually have some pretty dark and rainy fall & winter months in Washington State.
